The business has just moved into seriously impressive new offices and there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. Their new Financial Controller has come in with a clear brief: modernise the finance function, improve processes and build a really strong team around him.
And he’s looking for someone early in their career to bring along for the ride.
Not someone who already knows everything. Not someone who has to have five years’ experience...
Someone with around 12 months under their belt, a good attitude and the ambition to learn.
He’s been mentored throughout his own career, so he understands the value of having someone experienced investing time in you. He wants to do exactly that here - teach you, challenge you, give you exposure and help you build your career properly.
You’ll be joining at a really interesting point for the business, with the opportunity to get involved as things change rather than walking into a finance function that’s been doing things the same way for 20 years.
And you'll be given so much training and support that once you've mastered transactional accounting, you can support the FC with the management accounts.
