A brilliant, ever growing company is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant into a role that offers direct exposure to month-end and a clear route into management accounting.
Working closely with the Management Accountant, the successful candidate will support the preparation of accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting. The role is aimed at someone who has gained experience in finance and is looking to move beyond transactional processing into a position that will develop their understanding of management accounts and the month-end process.
The business will support CIMA or ACCA studies and is looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career in accounting. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will work alongside experienced finance professionals, gaining exposure to the tasks and responsibilities that will help them progress towards qualification.
With continued growth across the business, there is a defined progression route available, with opportunities to move into Assistant Management Accountant and Management Accountant roles as experience and qualifications develop.
This opportunity would suit someone who is studying, or planning to study, CIMA or ACCA and is looking for a role that provides the practical experience needed to complement their qualifications and support their progression towards becoming a chartered accountant.
