We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice. If you enjoy building strong client relationships, working with cloud accounting technology, and want the flexibility of largely remote working, we'd love to hear from you.

💼 The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert accounting and tax support while helping businesses embrace digital accounting solutions.

You'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding client experience and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

✔ Managing your own portfolio of practice clients

✔ Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements

✔ Preparing VAT returns and corporation tax computations

✔ Supporting clients with cloud-based accounting systems including Xero and QuickBooks

✔ Building strong relationships with clients and liaising with HMRC

✔ Reviewing work and mentoring junior members of the team

✔ Identifying opportunities to improve client services and support business growth

👤 About You

We're looking for someone who has:

✅ ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (or is part-qualified) or qualified by expereince

✅ Previous experience within an accountancy practice

✅ Experience managing a client portfolio

✅ Strong knowledge of VAT and corporation tax

✅ Experience using Xero, QuickBooks or similar cloud accounting software

✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

✅ A proactive, organised and client-focused approach

✅ The ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team
