Senior Credit Controller
Manchester City Centre
£33,000 - £35,000
A direct line to the MD, no micromanagement... the chance to build and eventually lead your own function.
Now that's a Credit Control role worth talking about.
I've recruiting for a fast-growing international business that's having a cracking year - and they're looking for an experienced Credit Controller who wants more than another ledger to manage.
Here's why this one's different:
- You're trusted to get on with it - run your own portfolio, make decisions and manage your workload without someone constantly looking over your shoulder
- You're in the room with the decision-maker - reporting directly to the MD means your ideas get heard, your experience gets valued and you can genuinely influence how things are done
- You can make your mark - this isn't a case of inheriting a process and sticking to it. There's scope to challenge, improve and shape the Credit Control function
- There's somewhere to go - as the business grows, so does the opportunity to step up and ultimately lead the function
- You'll be part of a team that delivers - ambitious, supportive and pulling in the same direction
Day to day, you'll manage arrears, resolve outstanding accounts, handle Section 8 notices, build relationships and take full responsibility for your portfolio.
But the bigger opportunity? Having the freedom to do things your way, the MD's ear when you have something to say, and the potential to build a leadership role around your strengths.
If you're experienced, commercially minded and ready to be trusted to deliver rather than managed through every decision, this deserves a look.
