Senior Accountant – Manchester | Hybrid

We’re working with a modern, growing accountancy firm in Manchester that’s looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working with clients, having a bit more ownership and actually getting involved in the businesses behind the numbers.
What you’ll be doing
- Looking after your own portfolio of clients
- Preparing accounts, tax returns and VAT
- Producing management accounts
- Speaking directly with clients and answering queries
- Providing practical tax and accounting advice
- Helping clients understand their numbers and make better decisions
- Working with the wider team to deliver a great service
About you
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in accountancy practice
- Strong accounts and tax knowledge
- Experience managing clients
- Good communication skills
- A proactive, commercial approach
- ACA/ACCA or relevant QBE experience
