A leading Accountancy Practice is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its growing Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth clients while playing a key role in the firm's continued success. They have more than doubled their headcount since this time last year, have offices throughout the country and are continuing to grow and build a real network of accounting professionals. The Role
- Deliver high-quality personal tax advisory services to a varied client portfolio.
- Oversee compliance processes, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and complex tax matters.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to provide comprehensive client solutions.
- Keep abreast of tax legislation and ensure best practice is maintained.
- Identify business development opportunities and contribute to growth initiatives.
- Review complex tax computations, returns, and reports.
About You
- Ideally CTA qualified (or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax legislation.
- Proven experience managing portfolios of high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
