Are you an experienced Tax Senior looking for your next challenge with a well-established independent accountancy firm in Leeds? This could be just the opportunity you’ve been looking for!

We’re working with a fantastic independent firm looking to bring an experienced Mixed Tax Senior into its tax department following the departure of a Tax Assistant Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, work closely with the Head of Tax and continue developing your career in a supportive environment.

The Role

You’ll manage a diverse mixed tax portfolio, with an approximate 60% personal tax and 40% corporation tax split.

Your client base will include high-net-worth individuals, company directors, clients with rental property portfolios, partnerships and a range of owner-managed businesses. You’ll also gain exposure to the corporation tax side of audit work, giving you plenty of variety and the opportunity to build on your existing technical expertise.

You’ll join a close-knit tax team comprising the Head of Tax, an Assistant Manager and a Tax Assistant, with support from a Tax Director who provides wider oversight of the department.

What are we looking for?

You’ll ideally have at least five years’ experience in tax, with a strong grounding in both personal and corporation tax. You’ll be comfortable managing a varied portfolio, handling client queries and working independently, while also contributing positively to a close-knit team.
